Full Accessibility Suite
To test a site for accessibility it is necessary to take a number of additional steps. For instance, the copy on the page must be judged for clarity, the accessibility specific code elements within the page must be examined to see if they are helpful and finally, the site must be put to use with screen readers. Issues such as whether or not required fields in a form can be identified are vital. They can mean the difference between a page being inconvenient to a disabled user and being unusable all together. And no automated testing can answer this.
Page Accessibility Labs (PAL) test experts will first run a battery of automated test and produce an extensive report and then they will examine your website manually using screen readers. The complete report will include page by page lists of failures, weak areas, as well as your strong points. These reports are intended primarily to help you bring your web presence into compliance or, if your site is found to be compliant, as a shield in case of litigation.
