WebPAL Directory
The WebPAL Directory (under development) will be a listing of websites which pass usability testing. It will focus on websites of interest primarily to the visually impaired, since they are the community most reliant on assistive technologies. It will include banking, medical, social, and other services. It will include local information, entertainment guides, restaurant reviews… In short most everything one would find in any other website directory except that all the sites listed will not only be technically accessible but will have passed usability testing as well.
Any company or organization which believes their site meets this standard of excellence is welcome to contact us. We will review your web site and, if it passes our testing, include it appropriately in our listing. If it does not pass - we will write to say so. You are welcome to use our services to find out why it failed or you can make other arrangements and try again. Listing is free.
Any website which passes will also gain the right to post our PAL - Access Assured badge on their website.
