Community Service

We at Page Accessibility Labs believe that accessibility doesn't belong only to the web but to all of life's facets. It means access to quality education, jobs, entertainment. It means supporting research and outreach programs. It means giving back to the community wherever we can help. Below are just some of our recent efforts.

Open Source Development

There are a number of tools around which can help the disabled web user have an easier and more enjoyable online experience. Some of the best, however, can cost thousands of pounds. At PAL we work with a number of organizations to develop high quality free, open source assistive technologies.

We also support the development of simulators for the sighted which give, pardon the term but, a glimpse of how the blind experience the web. We support the development of testing tools freely available to everyone. And we support the development of blind-friendly online entertainment
